Just so everyone knows, I am leading the overnight run to Swamp Lake. This trip is really a fun run. Like doing the dusy but a lot shorter.

How nasty is Swamp Lake in comparison with trails like John Bull/Doran/Odessa/etc? How far is this from the LA area?

Swamp is like the Dusy. same area, same type terrain. At least one locker is adviseble.


JB is not difficult at all, the only thing that makes odessa/doran difficult is the gate keeper.
