[COLOR="Blue"]I just checked the weather for Saturday.
It will be in the 50's in the morning, 70 at noon, with winds @ 7mph. I'll take that!! The UV rating is 'very high" so bring sunscreen or a long sleeve shirt and hat.

If you could arrive at the Discovery Center before 9:00 a.m. - we'll do a drivers meeting and leave promptly at 9:15 a.m. and head for Cactus Flats.

Look forward to seeing everyone there.
      mk

      Note:
We'll most likely be running in 2 groups, so as not to have such a long caravan. We'll meet up at designated spots, then proceed as 2 groups again.

70's! It's gonna be nice to get out of this 100 degree weather for a change. Going over the rig today to be trail ready early morning.

I am bringing my ham radio. I will be waiting at cactus flats. coming up from the Lucerne Valley direction.

What ham frequency will we be using?

                  Repeater: 145.260 - PL 103.5
                  Simplex: how about 146.550

I don't know which I will be monitoring primarily. I suspect if anyone else in our group is on HAM, we will be spaced front and back and using Simplex. So try Simplex first.

I live up in running springs, just got a 'new to me' jeep yj.. .and.. and... I have to play army this weekend.

I drove the jeep to work today and I didn't see any of you guys heading up the 330 at 5am... lol.

Thanks for "playing Army" I appreciate it! Keep those helos flying! I'm off work all week, do you have any days off this week? Maybe we could hit the trails one day this week! I'm always looking for an excuse to get out of the desert...

TJGregg is also wanting to do a run this week
