I met up Saturday with Max and Lila(max7), Roger, Brian (ECVJeep), and Jay (blue YJ w/ 5.7 LT1 engine) from Tri County Gear, and his friend Bob from "Superlift". We headed up Partin Mine Road to the Silver Reef Mine camp and then the Lester Dale Mine camp. We explored some mines and the remaining buildings. Then we headed a little east and cruised up another canyon with a cool winding trail next to the stream bed. There is a few mines in this area but each one that I hiked to had the entrances caved in. After some lunch we headed back to Hwy 247. Roger split off at this point and the rest of us headed to Rattlesnake Canyon. We ran Rattlesnake, 2N02, and 3N03 and finished at Cactus Flats and Hwy 18 in
2 1/2 hours. We did lean on the skinny pedal! We all played on the usual spots in Rattlesnake and found a couple of places to explore next time. Thanks everyone, it was another great day.
