Crap! Can't find 323 n. Harbor blvd. No one is answering cell phones or 146.520. I'm monitoring and circling the area!

I AM GUILTY. I did not show up. I have been wrenching on the Jeep all day to fixed a seized brake rotor from yesterday's adventures. My apologies to all. Hope you had fun.

I got your voicemail - was in a very noisy restaurant in Long Beach when you called, didn't even realize I had VM until almost 2230.

THANK YOU to Doug for putting on this great event. And to Dave and Tony for speaking and teaching us enough to make our heads explode (in a good way )

We are definitely inspired to get going with this new hobby! hehe

I like to torment myself. Can someone explain just where you all met? I drove around for over an hour looking for anything resembling 323 N. Harbor. Is it anywhere close to the BofA at Chapman/Harbor?

Thanks Doug for putting this all together. It was nice to meet some new people.

I think my next step is gonna be APRS.

Boy was I! So frustrating. The "right" location is even closer to my house!

Thanks Doug! I'm looking forward to actually seeing how APRS works on the trail.

Tracy, et al, thanks for the support!

I started to try to program 146.55 and .58 into my HTs, and realized I already had them. Now if I could just remember how to change the alpha tags...

Really wish I could have made it - I still haven't hooked my TM700 to the 376C for APRS.

Funny - I went on Garmin Mapsource to load Dougs office into the 376C. "Action Trophy" is a preloaded waypoint
