  • Trail Run: Friday Exploring

Went out today for some Friday Exploring. I met Roger, Scott (avjeepfreek), Crash, and perfect suprise Jesse (Kodiak Spirit) and daughter Tori. We headed north on Hwy 247 from Lucerne. We headed west via Johnson Road to Fairview Valley. We cruised up to an old abandoned mine for some exploring. I stood watch as the others went the full distance of this mine at 400ft +. We had some lunch and then headed west to the Oro Grande mining area west of the 15 fwy. We checked out several mines and enjoyed the views and the approaching storm. Just as we started towards the fwy the rains came. We got soaked airing up the Kodiak Spirit. We had off and on rains for the rest of the afternoon. We finished the day driving back through Fairview Valley with Crash showing us the Caboose that is parked out in the middle of the desert. We aired up and all cruised home.

This was another great local trip with some awesome friends. Thanks to everyone for going.

      Dennis,

You know your rum! That's exactly what it was.
