      From: http://www.avicasino.com/

Take the 15 to the 40 to Needles. From Needles, take I-40 to River Road Cutoff , which becomes Needles Hwy, North 14 miles to Aha Macav Pkwy. Look for the AVI sign. Turn right and continue 2 miles to the AVI.

LOL! You aren't kidding. The Armada weighs about 7,000 lbs with kids and gear in it.

Got CB's installed in the Armada and my buddy's 4Runner this weekend. Good clean installs with excellent results. It went so smoothly, I might redo my problematic Jeep CB setup soon :-)

Guys, I was a little concerned about the number of vehicle we have so I contacted the NPS Monday to get a permit. Believe it or not we got it. The lady was very helpful and rushed my application. Roger and I will be picking up the permit from the NPS office on Thursday on our way to AVI. Our vehicle limit is 15.

For those that are meeting us at the ARCO station at noon on Thursday, the address is: 100 Montara Rd, Take I-40 east from the I-15 Split. Take the very first off ramp after the I-15 - I-40 Split and turn right at the bottom of the ramp. It will be right there. FYI there is also a Wal-mart at this location for the last minute stuff you forgot to buy!

Don't forget to bring firewood and your sleeping bag. Oh, and fresh underwear.

It also looks like we are going to try and camp at Mid Hills the first night. They have bathrooms and water to was your dirty mop.
