  • Trail Run: Old fearless trail/ aka fearless follies

    A few of the Roughwheelers will be running the OLD FEARLESS TRAIL ( formerly the Fearless Follies Trail) @ the El Mirage OHV trail and putting up directional signs on Saturday October 18.
    We will be running the entire trail, plus the newer harder sections of the trail.
    We will be on CB channel 4, departing Crapper 10 @ 9AM

      yes ,,, $15 for a day pass,but the OLD FEARLESS JEEP TRAIL is getting some good tough sections,,,

                Cool looking trail. How long is it?

                BTW< what camera are you using, your EXIF data did not say. I was impressed with the sharpness of the images, and color.

                  Canon SLR digital Rebel, using a 75/300 mm lens.
                  The trail is probably 5 miles or less, never cked, but it is getting a few good tough sections. Lockers required to make it through,,, I think the more it is used the better it will get, and we have to go out and explore some other canyons and add to it. Still work in progress.

                    Great pics mr chips, thats where we usually take the quads and the jeep. Just has been awhile since I've been out there, more of a reason to go as soon as I find time!

                      Reminds me of Los Coyotes Indian Reservation in San Diego. It was 15.00 per vehicle to run that. My group went on one of the last runs there before it closed sans me because I had to work. I've been as a passenger in a Jeep, but by the time I got my own Jeep, it was on it's way to being closed. That was some money they were bringing in at 15.00 per vehicle. Our group would have 10 or so vehicles when we went.
