  • Organized Event: High Sierra Poker Run (Swamp Lake)

This is an awesome run. This trail is comparable to the Ducy both in difficulty and beauty.

You just don't know how bad I want to go, but Labor Day is a committed weekend this year. Regardless, the run sounds awesome! I really want to explore the Swamp Lake trail.

What IGOFSHN didn't point out is that if you want to go, you need to act quickly. The Swamp Lake run is limited to 50 rigs. The Forest Service obviously takes protecting these trails seriously, so if you want to go, sign up soon!

There is a Margarita Blend-Off competition as well. You just gotta love that!

I believe we had 25 rigs last year on the 2 day run. It was a blast.

Trailers are overrated. lol Tent is the only way to go.

The two day run, requires a tent on the trail, unless you have an overland trailer with the tent like that style.
Those are cool, but could be a little tough to get into parts of the trail.

The base camp has plenty of room for a big trailer.
