They never posted up this run. I think they did it privately. It looks good though.

Hey Sahara0207, sorry that we didn't post this run. It was a birthday run organized off-line. I love the area. Maybe we can hook up for a run on some of the other trails before the summer is over.

Hey Mike . . . looks like some of these trails were pretty tough . . . where would you recommend practicing to get more of a comfort level for that type of terrain? The pics are just too awesome . . . I've got to get out there and see it for myself.

I would say that you have a very capable vehicle, and with some good spotting you would probably do it just fine, thats what happened with me last year, on the dusy for the first time..

                Great trail report

I gotta say... this is one excellent trail report and pix combo. Great write up as well.

It looks like a fun and very challenging trail, with some great scenery and camp spots.

I am gonna have to plan this for the future for sure.
(after my Jeep gets a few more mods)

I'd estimate 5-6 hours driving time.
Red Lake/Coyote Lake is a fun trail that's in the same general area; just did that one myself.

Dude! No one is truly ready for three days of solid rock-crawling. We do it because we are sick puppies that love the outdoors, a challenge, and the next photo op! You and your Jeep can do this trail. I've seen you drive! If you want to build more confidence before you go, run John Bull a few times in a row. The principles are the same. The rocks are just a little bigger.
