...the wife and I are gonna try and make it too, we'll meet you at the trailhead at 8PM unless advised otherwise. We'll be coming up the mountain from the Running Springs direction (or maybe up Hwy38, Curtis?)......radio channel?

The wife and I are in but it all depends on work. If I get out at 6:00pm as planned, I'm there. I will know by 4:00pm tomorrow if I will make it.

I'am spending the night in big bear, so i will be leaving early friday.

A) If I take the 15 Freeway from Ontario up to Bear Valley RD and then HWy 18, it's approx. 80 miles to the trail head.

B) If I take the 330 to the 18 and go all the way through Big Bear to trail head it's approx. 70 miles.

Which road will have less traffic to travel through? A or B?

Had a wonderful time last night. The stars, Venus and milky way watch was beautiful. My wifey had fun too. Nice to see familiar faces and happy to meet new ones. Looking forward to the next run.
