Thanks Curtis! Can anyone tell me if this is the best route? Last time I ended up going the long way and it took forever. I'm coming from the Valley on the 210 East.

Continue on CA-210 E

Continue on CA-30 E - go 6.0 mi

Take the MTN RESORTS exit onto CA-330 N - go 15.7 mi

Bear Left on RIM OF THE WORLD HWY(CA-18) - go 10.5 mi

Continue to follow CA-18 - go 1.9 mi

Continue on NORTH SHORE DR(CA-38) - go 6.1 mi

no am not going. I still have not made it off road up there. Just too far. Will wait till gas prices go down this fall.

Sounds like everybody's planning on just a Sat run . . . I think I'll have to hold off on this one and come out for the next weekend trip. Big Bear is just too far for a one day'r for me Have a great time and take lots of pics. Hopefully I'll get back up there soon.

schmo if you want i can meet you at the 210 and 330 split @ 7:30ish and head up the mountain to the Discovery center together ,and with all decent rigs going we might be able to hit a couple more tomorrow then just john bull !
