Trail Run: Full Moon Shredder Canyon Saturday Nigh Run

I think we need to do a full moon night run on Shredder Canyon since the last trip was BLAZING HOT!!!

Where:
Shredder Canyon, Antelope Valley

When:
Aug 16th

Time:
6:30PM

Meeting Place:
Trailhead

Take either Pearblossom Highway east or SR 138 west to 165th St. E.. Turn north. (You can't miss 165th St. any more. It's the only street for dozens of miles controlled by a traffic signal.)


Vehicle requirements:
35's or bigger (unless you're a REALLY good driver)
Front & Rear Lockers
Rock Rails (or a lack of concern for your rockers)
Tow points Fr/Rr (of course)
Spare Parts, Extraction tools, Hi-Lift, Working SB
Working Rock Lights


Trail description:

The scenery is less than spectacular, unless you dream of living in Palmdale, but the trail is awesome. It gets hot in Palmdale so bring water & regular supplies. The trailhead is about 30 minutes north of San Bernardino up the I-15 and across SR138.

If your rig meets the minimums & you've been dying to wheel a hard- core rock trail, this is it. If you can run Shredder than you're pretty well setup for Johnson Valley, which is why this is a good test run.

Last time i also said a Limited Slip was ok in the front and now I'm asking for a FULL locker up front as well.

Trails change after 6-7 years & I'm not up for a all night rock stacking winchfest.

No problem here, I have front and rear D/L's, 4:1 t/case and 4:56 r&p BUT, I'm on 33" AT's. Maybe in the fall I'll be able to make it.

OK I am bringing the off road trailer full of ICE and Water and of course some munchies for the Crew. I will bring the some meat you bring the tortillas!
