    Big Bear Forrest Fest Redo

    Well Guys had to work the Forrest Fest and had a great time meeting a bunch of new people on Friday and Saturday of the event. The company jeep on Saturday broke a brake line with custom AN fittings and none in Big Bear and we were stranded on the trail for 6hrs we finally got it off the trail and towed it back to the event.
    So my wheeling for the weekend was limited. Oh Well
    I am ready to go back and wheel!!!
    I got reservations at THE BLOCK hotel in Big Bear a Holiday weekend is usually expensive but we got rooms for $99.00 a night.
    We plan to drive up early on the 4th and wheel when we get there all day. Looks like 7 Jeeps so far.
    At the hotel they have BBQs on a patio and a pool nearby. The cool thing at this Hotel the Beer is FREE! Hah! sounds like a party on the 4th...Oh BTW once we are back,its time to surrend the keys cause it will be on!
    Any one interested or just up for the day come on up and join us for a BBQ probaly just dogs and Burgers but who cares!
    Just post up we will leave here from Ventura County at 600am and be there at 830am at the Hotel to drop off the tow vehicles.
    There is plenty of rooms available and call and ask for the Gen-Right Discount!

    I will likely be up in Big Bear for the weekend. I did John Bull on Sunday's Forest Fest run. Would be up to it again and others. Gold Mountain/John Bull combo? I'll PM to confirm.

            Ran john bull last weekend and really want to do dishpan. I live pretty close to the 101 and could caravan up there with you in the morning. Are you guys planning to run dishpan first and then john bull?

              I can swing a day trip to Big Bear on Sunday June 6th. I'll confirm as the dates get closer. Are you planning on running any trails on Sunday? If so, around what time? Also what channel will you be on the cb?

                Well we are leaving at 6am here from Ventura on Friday the 4th doing the 126 to the 210 straight to BB and planning to be there about 830am drop the vehicles off at The Block and make decisons then. We are up for anything we are going to be there for the weekend but someone mentioned Gold Mtn to John Bull or Dishpan springs to or whatever Saturday is open too!. Sunday will be Mimosa day and lick wounds. Could be talked in a run on Sunday if nothing broke.
                Have to check with the colonel on events for the day.

                    I've been up to BB 2 times in the past month and can't wait to head back up. I'll be there for some 4th of July weekend wheelin.
