  • More fun in the sun!

I just can't sit home, so on the phone and out to the Ord's today. I met Dave and his girl friend Dalene in Apple Valley, Met up with my friend Justin and his son Wyatt in Lucerne, dropped off my doors at Rogers house and hits the trails. Neither Dave or Justin had been to the Quill Spring area, so we headed that direction. We checked out some different trails, saw several new mines for another trip, and found a trail that runs over the mountain to Hwy 247 and Gold Belt Mine area. Great weather, cool shade at the spring for lunch, warm on the trails, a little windy on top of the view point. There are a few narrow, loose areas, a couple off camber sections and a few rocks but nothing more than 4low and occasional 4wheel drive. Ended the day with a few poser shots and headed home. A perfect diversion for the day!

You da man through Heartbreak! Without your guidance, I'd still be trying to get over that first rock!

You know Mitch's Jeep is way better to handle those rough parts than mine. I've just got a "po' boy" lift. With your leadership I know Mitch could handle it, even if he doesn't think so....

              I think he is ready.
