Crap, well, I can't do 8 am. Big Bear is too far of a commute. I was already pushing it with the 9:30 start.

I guess I'll be the trail leader for the next group that is starting later in the morning. I better go look up GPS coordinates. I have no idea how to get to the trail head!

I Ran John Bull twice several weeks ago, love that trail, whenever you want to run it again let me know would love to cruise a long. I am not an early riser though, is one of the disadvantages of a night job.

The Blue Rover owned by Steve Perry is a great looking rig. It sure reminds me of the old International Scouts.

I have a question, what is the purpose for the straps coming from the brush guard up to the top rack? Are they rigged like that just for easy access in case he gets stuck and needs a Jeep to pull him out?

If I may answer Roger, those are limb risers and are usually found on African or South American Rovers. They use them to lift tree branches out of the way in thick forest. Helps you see better and to somewhat protect the windshield.
