Upper Coyote Canyon/Horse Canyon

I always try to head on out to Anza Borrgeo to run Coyote Canyon towards the end of May before it closes until September 30th. The trailhead for the northern part of the canyon is located in Anza, just off hwy 371. Although the rough section of shelf road known as Turkey Grade has been graded, Horse Canyon more than makes up for it. There are a few spots here where I've had to break out the recovery strap, so I'm hoping I won't be alone on this one. If anyone would like to join, that'd be great.

No go for this run.

Well, my fuel pump went out on me so I'm gonna have to spend this weekend putting in a new one. I'll just have to wait a few months when the canyon opens again in October.
