I would go, but I'm going down to San Marcos for my nephew's 2 year birthday party. We hit up Dishpan Springs last Saturday while you guys were at Calico, not the same but it was fun.
Calico hell, last weekend I was tearing down and rebuilding my engine. Big Bear sounds like gravy train after 3 days in the garage. How you doing Crazy?
Kevin.

lol, I'm pretty good, how are you doing Kevin? Glad to hear your engine's back together and ready for the trails again.
How about doing Gold Mountain? Barb and I started it, but there was a tree down and couldn't finish it. We've never fully done the whole trail, so I would have to defer to whatever you'd like to do. I know where gold mountain starts and I have a map, GPS, positive attitude...

Id like to join you guys, on a B.B. run. Now that I'm done with my chores around the house today. Gold mtn. (warm up) then John Bull? Or what ever.... So if you guys are setting on going, wheres the meeting place and what time? Tony

Tony! Meeting place doesn't matter us, but we may want to swing by the Discovery Center and pick up a Golden Eagle pass while we're up there. Would like to head out to the trail early enough to get home early evening.
had to edit, I'll need to get home at a decent hour, need a haircut before work on Monday.
Discovery center is usually the ideal place to meet. I've done JB a few times and also help with repairs on the trail. If you have not done it, keep in mind it is challenging. Line selection is key. I can be up there about 8-830am. Unless if the other guys choose a different time or place. But need to wrap this up b4 the days over. So we could have a early start for good day of wheeling. But I'm open for anything. Tony
I'll shoot you a PM for our contact information...However, for public use...We'll meet you at the Visitor's Center at 9am, we plan to take 2n02 (Burns Canyon) up to BB. We'll have the YJ and the Liberty (2wd) so it may take us some time. However, if we're NOT there by 0945, we probably had to turn around. Not sure about cellphone coverage going up 2n02, so might not be able to call. 0945 deadline is so you don't wait all day for us. Sound good?
PM with number to follow.

Tony, Kevin...whomever else I stood up. I am sorry for not making it up there...I have a short in the electrical somewhere that about fried the dizzy this morning. I lost all power to everything except the lights about half way through 2n02. I think something must have jarred loose on the chatter-bumps and grounded out.
Luckily we sat there for only about 20 minutes until some guys & gals from Hi-Desert 4x4 came through and gave us a hand. Everyone was extremely helpful and made sure we had water, food, etc before they departed. It reminded me of our group at MJR.
Once I 'cool off' from being so angry at the YJ & myself; I'll go out and take a look to see what's up. Thanks for understanding guys...next time.
