Did you find some trails that leed up to the proposed area?

That's in my backyard. I go out there all the time and know most of the trails in the area.

If I'm available I'd be more than happy to come out.

So where the heck is Granite Mountains? Do you have a map or GPS coords or something. Google Maps just told me I'm a retard.

              Shad,

Granite Mountain is North of Hwy 18 and Rabbit Dry Lake, West of Hwy 247, South of Johnson Road, and East of Central. This is in both Apple Valley and Lucerne Valley.

You don't need Google Maps to tell you that!

Just kidding! The other members that posted gave you good info for finding the Granites.

Okay Everyone, Mitch and I pre-ran it yesterday. Check out Mitch's posting of it and the great photos! I hope more of you will sign up, the desert is really berautiful right now and we don't get this beauty every year. The rains have to come just at the right time.

It would be great to give the newspaper editor a great impression.

                            Thanks

                              Roger,
Barb & I are going to try to make it. However, I just had a short in the electrical somewhere stop me in my tracks today. I'll get to work on it tonight, I'm a little too pi$$ed at the Jeep to take a wrench to it right now.

If it's not one thing, it's another.
