      Long story short.

Three years ago, while out a bunch of us were out wheeling in Calico, this girl pulls up in her little green TJ. We had the tri-tips on the fire, and we were done wheeling for the day. The guys (being guys) ask her to join us, which she promptly did. Everyone was drinking something. Like Erik said some had beer, some coke, some stronger stuff. The girl in the green Jeep was Sarah. She grabbed a beer, someone said something, and Sarah replied "Ill Drink To That" (acronym: IDTT) and took a drink of whatever she was drinking. She said that more times then anyone could count that night. And the rest was history.

MyJeepRocks (the forum) was born that night. We were all from JeepForum, but wanted something more friendly and local. Since then, we've grown way bigger then any of us ever dreamed. We still try to keep it friendly, but the local thing is relative I guess

      And there you have it

I'm not sure thats a safe thing to do! I have been told that he went after a man dressed like marlin monroe one night after a few beverages, so if its dark and you feel like doing a B and E, Kurts tent may be the one to AVOID! Kurt who loves ya!!

HA! Close your eyes and chug a Fanta. I see those things every so often at old timey shops. The kind of places that sell nostalgic candy and the like. Actually, I could have sworn I just saw some at the Walmart in Orange.

Winchester Farms sells them, and I KNOW John Nese will have them, but it's a hell of a drive for me to get to his place:

                            Russ,

The stocker run as you have planned it sounds good to me. I am 99% positive I'll be going with you on the run.

Can anyone tell me if tent camping at Calico is feasable? I can rough it okay. Just not quite as rouugh as I could oh say 20 years ago! (If the wifey goes with me, we'll have our trailer)

Also, is there a particular area in the campground that we can camp fairly close together?

                            Are reservations recommended??

It's a dry desert no-man's land. No water, no bathrooms, no nuthin. Camping consists of wherever you pitch a tent. There is a campground at the ghost town, but it's away from the action and an extra expense. Trailers can make it into the canyons just fine. A trailer is nice and all, but I just whip out the tent, sleep, then pack it all in and go in the morning.
I can't think of a single reason to hang out at a campsite, other than to BS with folks around a campfire. If it's light out, I'm drivin!

Yellowfever's getting married, maybe my last trip as a bachelor

Not sure if I can make the run this year, seems I'm getting married on April 6th(how in the hell did that happen?) and the time and the money is a little tight right now. Maybe i can tell her it will be my Bachelor part and she'll buy into it? But if I do go I will be bringing more of the Korean short ribs again. This time I'll bring 10 pounds instead of the 3 I brought last year.
