    5th Annual "IDTT" Calico Reunion Run

    This is not the first, nor the second, or even the third or fourth annual run - you heard it here folks - it's the fifth!

    Join in on the MJR legacy and c'mon out to Calico. For those of you who are new this year, this trail run commemorates the friendships that keep this board going strong.

    For trail requirements and directions...

    NO DRINKING ON THE TRAIL, save it for after the run.
    PLEASE BRING FIREWOOD!!
    TOW HOOKS/RECOVERY POINTS REQUIRED!!
    PLEASE READ AND FOLLOW: COMMON TRAIL ETIQUITE!
    Do Not bring a tow strap with metal hooks!!
    Portable toilets required!

      Stocker run???

      Sarah,

      Will we have separate start times and signups for the Saturday runs?
      If there are any folks who don't want to run Odessa/Doran, I'd be happy to organize another (in)famous STOCKER run on Saturday, 3/29.

        ha ha ha....Russ organizing a stocker run.... like the last time at Calico Russ? As I remember it, you took them through Doran. I'm not poking fun at ya, just remembering with fond memories. Poor stockers just dont know what they are in for.

          Hector will be better prepared this year...

          It looks like work is going to co-operate with me this year!!! I won't get too excited...things change quickly around here.

                    we are in for this trip. Russ does socker runs? I hear jeeps shaking in driveways right now.

                          The stocker run will take the Mule Canyon cutoff to West Phillips Loop, drive through Kramer Arch, then continue up West Phillips to the top of the ridge where we will have a photo opp of the Daggett area. We will cross Odessa Canyon and continue to the ridgeline between Odessa and Doran Canyons to explore the mines and then to Wall Street Canyon Overlook.

                              While I don't necessarily think Doran is well suited for a "stocker run" I will point out that nobody needed a wrench last year on Russ's "stocker run". All of the stockers made it through fine, although slowly!

                              I did need to use my hi-lift to get a rock away from my steering though:
