    Hey Flatpoint Dave,

You better take the day off on Saturday, cause I already signed you up for this run! Trust me, you'll like it.

Dang! I'd love to go but our family celebrates 4 birthdays that day. Humm... I wonder if I would be missed if I snuck out the back door....

I think I need to clarify when I say, "We will be stopping and exploring" What I mean is we will be getting out of the Jeeps and exploring the area. Some of us like to Geocache and there are some other areas of interest that will be quite fun to see. Just want to do something a little different then sitting on my @$$ in the Jeep. I need some exercise.
        Hope you can make it.

          Dirtman13,

Wait a Minute! I assumed (I hate it when I do that) you were talking about a Sunday Run. I re-read your post and I see the run is on Friday the 8th. Is that correct?

Scott is correct. It's this Saturday. The date is on the attached link to the rsvp. I guess it would have been nice to post up top too. Sorry about that.

                    Chuck,

I'll be there for sure, but Dave (Flatpoint) has to work Saturday. According to a couple of trail books that I have, the corridor through the Wilderness area is 60 feet. So basically the streambed is the trail, including most of the rocks along the sides. I think that the idea was no side roads. A little hiking will be perfect. I still plan to return back down the canyon after a lunch break (snack).

                                Steeevo,

The Chevron is on Hwy 18 right before the split to Big Bear Hwy 18 and Hwy 247. If you make it to Lucerne Valley you can't miss it. Channel 4 on the CB.
