I plan to be at Jawbone store around 8:30. I'm towing my rig as well!! Then, meet the rest of the group at the ranger station (I belive right next to Jawbone)around 9:30-10:00. I'll be with one other Jeep!(Right Jeff?)

I usually leave my truck on the dirt road beside the ranger station. See you there.

You can leave it at the ranger station. If they close up, they close the gates but do not lock them.

FYI, the area has had heavy rain. As of this morning, Garlock Road is closed and water is flowing heavily under the bridge on Highway 14 at Ricardo. This also means that the water hole 1/2 way up Nightmare could be very deep (it was two feet deep two weeks ago). Be safe, responsible and tread lightly.

Is there a bypass in case the water crossing is too deep for some of us little guys?

                Difficulty?

Just how difficult is this trail?
Besides the water crossings, are there bypass' for the obstacles? I'm not up for a 'risk of body damage highly probable' kinda trail. If it's like Last Chance, then I'm totally up for 'floating'
                I think....

I am not at the point of letting the body damage happen just quite yet.....

So, how 'bout it, guys n girls...what's the vote on difficulty here?

I think it's my turn for a bailout....what do you think?

Nightmare is a narrow canyon with few (if any) bypasses. There is no bypass for the water hole. For stockers there's potential for rocker panel damage.
