Tracy and I left Norco at 7am on 12-26-07 headed for Soggy Dry Lake. We met up with Ben and Randy at Bessemer Mine Rd. We dropped the TC off on the lake and headed out for the day.

First stop was a mine near the northern end of Soggy Dry Lake.

Following Bessemer Mine Rd East we found a couple of hills to climb. First with the Pearl.

    Then on foot.

We found a bitchen wash that took us near the "MowJoe" statue.

And hiked 200' up to "MowJoe" himself.

We found a really cool wash that parallels Bessemer Mine Rd to the North just after it leaves Bessemer Mine. We had lunch there and played around on the rocks.

We found a gnarly area called Scott Rocks. Tight turns between rocks for over a mile was a blast.

    Iguana Rock

Next we headed for Camp Rock Rd and back to Soggy Dry Lake for the evening.

The winds blew 30-40mph all night with gusts over 60mph.

Neat looking rocks there! I especially like iguana rock! Thanks for sharing Doug! Do you ever work?
