        The trail run

I didn’t get many pictures of our trail run (because my camera wouldn’t focus properly in the cold!), and I was tail gunner.

The Cajon Pass from Cleghorn Ridge:

Max7 could NOT pass up an obstacle:

        Neither could Malachi:

        maddmike showing some flex:

The ISTHM&G night run (I can’t tell who they are; it was DARK!):

Thanks to Gene (Double G) for leading the run. Everyone got through with no damage, and I understand that only one Jeep needed a tow at the Notch. A very challenging, successful and FUN run!

What a great run. Thanks Russ for setting this up. I didn’t get to many pics this time because I was trying to stay out of the mud(also worried about the front u-joint). It was great seeing some of you again and meeting some new folks. At Bass Pro Shop my son counted 21 Jeeps. Great turn out.
At the trail head airing down.

Cresting the top I got this great shot of most of the MJR crew.

          One of the v-notches.

4xfiend coming up the v-notch open. This was quite a site. At one point he was sidewise on the notch and I was sure we were going to have to pull him out. Not so much. Besides scarring the :poop: out of me, nice job getting out of that.

Kodiak Spirit (Jess) crusin up the hill

dr.dirty (Scott) I think a few of had troubles here. It took me 5 attempts to get passed this rut. I kept sliding back in to the rut.

I know this is tough to see but this hill is very steep and very muddy and Max and Jess came down it like nothing.

Had a great time, even when I was sliding down the trail or when all I saw out my windshield was sky. With the exception of the smashed front fender, busted u-joint, and pieces of the walls still on the side of my Jeep we had a great time.
Whats left of my pics are here.http://smg.photobucket.com/albums/v2...3/MJR%20MandG/

Wow...didn't expect that at all. There was some really great Jeeps. I would like to thank the following: My job for the money, the internet for making it to easy to spend the money, UPS for delivering everything, and the Jeep widow that put up with all those "I'll be in the garage honey" days and nights and is still around.

That was a fun day.Sorry for holding everyone up(see crest pic above)It wasnt my intention to be first ahead in that group. I think I need a little more practice before I try that again ,which leads to my next question... is that really considerd a "beginners"trail??Those pics from after I split look kinda hairy......anyway, everyone was real cool. And the guy with the ponytail who helped me airdown, thanks man.

Hey Jr. Bonner you don't need to apologize for anything. The pace we were going was fine. Cleghorn is a Beginner Trail in many ways, but the V-Notch is NOT one of them. Especially when wet. I'm sorry that we didn't look out for you better.

Let's plan to run some trails soon. We can go at a pace that you are comfortable with. Post up a run. I'm sure that we can find something that will challenge you without breaking anything.
