Max's twisted trail II

I have slowly been working on a couple trails in my front yard (BLM) territory.


I decided to travel the second of two today and hammer it out a little further.


It's a great wash coming off the top of the mountain with a variety of technical obstacles including a few water falls.


This one high centered me to the point of winching for a while.





Some time I'd like to get a small group together to hash some more of this trail out.





My goal is to finish creating this trail and crest the range and I believe there are a couple of springs and mines up there. Interested? PM me.

Update MTT II

I got out for a couple hours today and connected two more wash portions together.



There are some challenging places on this trail ...and I was coming down hill today.









This is a great off camber section.


I am happy to forge forward. A little further and I will be acending the mountain. I was really disappointed I didn't get to winch at all today?

Okay Max... Just because YOU drove across it, doesn't necessarily make it a trail. Heck, I've seen you go places that made me think "Wow, someone actually thought that was passible?"

Regardless, it takes several passages to turn something into a traveled trail. Let us know when you want some company, and we can help to speed up the process!!

Max, looks like I be in your neck of the woods this weekend. Going to do Rattlesnake in the rain and head up to some snow in BB. Dependng on how long I stay I might be able to assist.

Saturday MTT II and BBQ

Hey Guys, I was thinking about Sat Morning at 8 AM. If this is not good for anyone let me know Sun is an option. This is not a finished trail I don't want to mislead anyone, but it will be fun none the less. I will have it maintained more by Sat. There will be challenges! And two other very local areas to explore time permitting. I will BBQ at the house after we are done wheeling. Those who are "in" let me know and I will PM my address to you! I'll have one empty seat available in my rig. Next time maybe I'll post this on the actual "Trail Run" page.

Few hours or more, sounds accurate, but honestly it depends on how far we get, as there is no end to the trail yet. It would be great if you could make it! Hope to see you Sat.
