Little Box Canyon Rd and Meccacopia Rd

Tracy and I left Norco at 12:30pm on Friday.

We parked about a mile into Little Box Canyon Rd off Box Canyon Rd and set up camp for the night.


We had a small campfire.


We broke camp Saturday morning and met up with a few friends.





We headed East on Little Box Canyon Rd and South on Meccachopia Rd and parked approx .5 miles from "The Grotto" on the edge of the wilderness area. From there we hiked.







This picture was taken in total darkness with the flash. We could not see either end of the cave.




After completing "The Grotto" we headed for "Hidden Spring"



We retraced our steps back through "The Grotto" and back to the vehicles.

Sunday morning Tracy and I headed for the Palm Springs Tram. We walked the Nature Loop and the Desert View Loop.





Down the tram at 1:30. Home at 4pm.
