    Thought I'd share this...

San Bernardino NF - Approximately 14,000 plants were eradicated from 3
gardens during the week of 8/28 - 9/1 on the San Jacinto RD.

An LEO investigated a vehicle accident on a Black-Diamond off-road route on the Mountain Top RD that killed one occupant of the vehicle and started a three-acre vegetation fire. A second passenger received major injuries.

The Patrol Captain and an LEO investigated the Emerald Fire on the Front
Country RD. The fire burned 2,000 acres, a home, and several out
buildings. The cause was determined to be illegal shooters.

An LEO is investigating a trespass of illegal bee hives on the forest
without a permit. The owner constructed a road and a cleared a large area
for the hives above Mill Creek on the Front Country RD.

The Patrol Captain and an LEO responded when a fuel tanker turned over on State Highway 18 and spilled 3-4,000 gallons of gasoline into the East Fork of Devils Canyon. The highway was closed for several days as the hazmat response and cleanup continues. The accident appears to have been caused by excessive speed.
