In 2008, MJR and JeepBBS collaborated to print a hard-cover book to send to our representatives. I must admit, simply driving past Johnson Valley on 247 doesn't give you the full story of what goes on there.
The goal of the book is to show that JV is unique and not easily replaced by "another chunk of land." It's about 30MB, and available from the link below. The hard-cover books are about $60 or the PDF can be taken to your nearest copy store, hole-punched and bound with mini D-rings. Tammy did this and got one in the BLM office in Barstow.
