Daphne Greene OHV Deputy Director ---- Gone in a few weeks

It has been announced that OHMVR Division Deputy Director Daphne Greene's last day on the job is 12/31/11. The job of Deputy Director is an appointment of the Governor.

The next Deputy Director will be appointed by Jerry Brown. God help us all.

I personally think that will not be good. I was pretty impressed by this group when we gave them rides out at the Hammers earlier this year; the result being that they came out in writing against the Marine Expansion.

I went on a tour with Daphne and her staff through the SBNF and was impressed with the Sacramento group.

Daphne Greene, the current deputy director of California's OHMVR Division within State Parks, has been informed that her appointment will be terminated effective January 1, 2012. Greene has been an important advocate for OHV recreation throughout the state.
