  • SBNF Winter Closure are now in effect

    As of today, 11/7/2011, all the following roads have been CLOSED for the winter season:

    1N02 Coon Creek
    1N05 Fish Creek
    1N54 Clarks Grade
    2N06 Radford Truck Trail
    2N08 Knickerbocker
    2N10 Skyline
    2N27 Sand Canyon
    2N93 Wildhorse
    3N09 Van Dusen Cnyn

    Butler Fire closures are still in effect for:
    2N13 Snowslide
    2N13C Butler Peak
    2N68 Old Snowslide
    2N80 Delamar Mountain
    Over 2500 hours donated to the San Bernardino National Forest. Life member of CA4WD, CORVA & BRC. Tread Lightly Trainer. Reforestation Supervisor. CASSP

    POET... Any chances that Butler Peak will be opening next year?

      Amazing that Van Dusen Canyon is closed. A nice wide level dirt road. I'll have to check out that cool mine when we visit next summer

        Chances are very good that it will open in May

          thank you for posting the update here. I have a harder time finding stuff on the gov website. I'm actually on here getting trail updates today. MJR wheels more then the rest of the web combined!
