Time to get involved

Another avenue for us to speak up. Might want to read through some of these and at least promote or demote the ones you believe in.
http://ideas.usda.gov/ago/ideas.nsf/...art=1&Count=20

Remember the report for this program goes to the President in November. The Anti-OHV crowed is doing all the talking.
Here are a few examples:
http://ideas.usda.gov/ago/ideas.nsf/...D?OpenDocument
http://ideas.usda.gov/ago/ideas.nsf/...A?OpenDocument

We need more voices.
Check out .

I just got an update from the Save the Trails group http://cts.vresp.com/c/?SaveTheTrail...582/0dbd910543 which stated there was a great responce from offroaders which well outnumbered the oponents to mechanized vehicle use of public lands.

Every effort to let you wishes be known can have a good effect.

YOUR VOTES HAVE BROUGHT BALANCE TO
AMERICA GREAT OUTDOOR INITIATIVE BLOG
Dear Mike,

Save The Trails, ARRA and American Landrights teamed up to post alerts recently asking people to VOTE for IDEAS to help ensure the President's Great Outdoor Initiative was about keeping public lands open to all forms of recreation, including Off Road Recreation. At the time the top rated IDEAS had mostly been about closing public lands, designating more inappropriate Wilderness Areas and National Monuments.

THAT HAS ALL CHANGED NOW DUE TO PEOPLE TAKING ACTION!!
I am very pleased to say many of you have responded, and as you can see in the sidebar What's Hot the IDEAS with the most votes now are about keeping public lands open to everyone. You can also see the ones with most NEGATIVE VOTES are about locking up more public lands.

Please go to the site and see for yourself and PLEASE VOTE FOR (PROMOTE) any IDEAS you think are GOOD and (DEMOTE) any IDEAS you think are BAD
http://ideas.usda.gov/ago/ideas.nsf/product

Here is the list we provided recently of IDEAS to PROMOTE and DEMOTE
http://www.savethetrails.us/AGO-Vote.html

We want to make sure this Great Outdoor Initiative BLOG continues to represent the need to keep multiple use lands open to the public and open to multiple use.

TOP INNOVATOR
Your votes have made yours truly, Chris Horgan, the Top Innovator by almost 1000 votes or 50% more than the Second Place Innovator. All of the IDEAS posted by me are about keeping public lands open and promoting forest health through much needed active management, so those are the kind of IDEAS the public is voting for with a vengeance.

Your votes are going to make a statement to the President to keep public lands open to all

To those of you who have VOTED-Job Well Done. You have given voice to urgent concerns

We need to keep the pressure on. If you have not VOTED Please do so NOW.

WE NEED TO KEEP THE PRESSURE ON
IF YOU HAVE NOT VOTED PLEASE DO SO NOW

Click on the link and VOTE for IDEAS about keeping Your Public Lands Open for you and your children

http://www.savethetrails.us/AGO-Vote.html

It only takes a minute to register and VOTE. They require only your name, password and city.

If you have already Voted then Please VOTE for any new IDEAS you like.

Thomas Jefferson once said, "All tyranny needs to gain a foothold is for a people of good conscience to remain silent". Many of us have remained silent, but that is changing.....

Thanks for speaking up

Chris Horgan and your friends at Save the Trails

There is still time to vote

That's great! Is it bad that I'm scared to register there? LOL Honestly this whole "feedback" thing seems weird to me. I commend you guys for going to the meetings and participating, but I just don't have a good feeling about this "process." After all, this is OUR land, and this seems like a case of democracy in action. We are a republic, not a democracy.

Bringing this back to the top. The OHV community is losing ground. Please make sure you check back frequenly and cast your vote.

Only a couple of months left.

This point is kinda moot when the federal government claims ownership of at least 60% of the land in the western U.S. Some bureaucrats get together, make/ change regulations, publish it in the Federal Registry, and that's pretty much all it takes.

I mean, you vote, don't you?
