    AGENCY: Fish and Wildlife Service, Interior.

    ACTION: Notice of document availability for review and comment.

    SUMMARY: We, U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (Service), announce the availability of a draft revised recovery plan for the Mojave population of the desert tortoise for public review and comment.

    DATES: We must receive any comments on the draft recovery plan on or before November 3, 2008.

    FWIW, I talked to my tortoise Kirsten and she said she was against this. She said more tortoises need to give in and get adopted so they can live the good life. No more coyotes bothering her, plenty of food and water and a nice big back yard to hang out in and enjoy the sunshine. Oh and a nice big single wide under the rocks to live in. Spoiled tortoise!
