            This is where I got my snake fascination from. Lot of controversy about this; but I know over the years it has transformed from a huge snake kill-off to a scientific study, educational tool, tourist attraction and more. The fact that they routinely pull 6 foot+ Western Diamond backs every year shows how resilient they are. When I was going back in the 70's and 80's is was mainly a kill off for the ranchers.

              When I was growing up they had a rattlesnake show outside Mineral Wells, TX. Huge pits filled with snakes. Also there used to be a big rattlesnake ranch off 20 somewhere out there. I dont know if it is still there. When I was home a couple months ago I forgot to see if it was there.

                What's the big deal? We bring them out at church all the time. As long as you are right with the Lord, they never bite.
