  • SBNF Reopening!

    The San Bernardino National Forest will reopen tomorrow 11/8

    This will include areas outside of the burn areas and seasonal closure areas.

        Malachi, the last I knew they were still at "Critical" fire danger, and of course closed. Haven't heard anything backchannel - I'll make a call or two tomorrow.

            Brian,

            Silverwood should be open, but best to call the Cajon station before heading out. I haven't seen an updated closure map that would include Grass and Slide - my latest is for the Butler 2 fire.

                        much of it re-opened as of November 8th. the paper that i read at a gas station on 18 on the way up to big bear showed MANY trails and I didnt care to read every single one, but i can say that i went up 3n16 over to 3n10 and ran john bull today and then took 3n32 back to paved road. rattlesnake is closed. thats all i know first hand.
                        1st batch TJ bought August of 96. Locked and Loaded!

                          Question: Isn't Rattlesnake Cyn. BLM land from 247 to Burns Rd.? Did BLM close that section of the desert?
