    First come first serve. No fee. No water. No bathrooms. Campfires allowed when fire restrictions permit. Campfire permits are required. Adventure Pass required.


    Greg Hoffman has informed me that YP25 is no longer.



    Yellow Post 26



    YP26 is located on 2N52Y at N34° 13.027 W116° 56.694

    Wide open area. Down a spur road (less traffic). Can fit a few tents or an RV.

    Not much shade.



    Yellow Post 27

    YP27 is located on 2N10D at N34° 12.896 W116° 57.359

    Lots of shade. A small creek is flowing near camp. Down a spur road. Room for a couple of tents.

    Low profile cars will not make it all the way to camp. No RV's

    YP28 is located on 2N11 at N34° 12.805 W116° 58.783

    Large area for parking. Room for a few tents. Down a spur road.

    Some shade. Not RV friendly.



    Yellow Post 29



    YP29 is located on 2N11 at N34° 12.950 W116° 58.650

    Some shade. Down a spur road. Not much flat space for tents. Not RV friendly.



    Yellow Post 30



    YP30 is located on 2N86 at N34° 13.950 W116° 58.805

    Lots of shade. Room for many tents. Down a spur road.

    Not RV friendly. While camping there last year our campsite was ransacked by a bear.

    In my opinion, a pop up camper-trailer towed behind a Jeep can make it to most of the YP sites in the SBNF without much trouble.

    We saw two 40' diesel pushers at YP sites this past weekend. There are maybe 3 or 4 YP sites total that I would feel comfortable driving a large toy hauler or motorhome to. Others may have a different comfort level.
