Your GPS may be unreliable if you are around the China Lake/Ridgecrest area (eastern Sierra). Note that the times are in GMT (1630Z = 930 am PDT and 2230Z = 530 pm PDT)

China Lake has been testing a GPS system jammer. From the information they put out here locally, it may affect aircraft flying at different altitudes depending on how far away they are from the source. At higher altitudes it has a range of over 500 miles. The affected area goes as far North as Oregon. Lots of desert conspiracy theorists having a field day with this one

The military already has the ability to jam that signal, but not with that range.
I worked on systems early in my Navy career that could do that.
