So I just picked one up and Im having a hard time loading trails. Anyone have experience with this unit? I loaded a micro SD with JV trails .usr files but it seems like the unit wont recognize it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well I learned that you cant use a 8gb mini SD. Switched to a 2gb card and the trails loaded.

Yeap, I was just going to post that. It really prefers 1mb files, which were "gigantic" back in 1995 when the guts of this unit were designed. Doug (FishPoet) is remarkably knowledgable about that infernal contraption.

use GPSBabel to convert files into .usr files

I have found gps visualizer to be a friendly interface.
