I wonder if my GPS will be affected by this? I have to say that I agree with LightSquared on this.

LightSquared is trying to pull a slick willy and weasel in on frequencies that are allocated to and intended for very low power satellite communication. They intend to put up very high powered stations all over the country on these frequencies. Yes they will clobber your GPS reception if you are within a few miles of them.
