Here are a few pics from the November 2005 Defense Mine Trail run that was part of the Cal4WDC Panamint Valley Days event:
The mine is located in the Argus Mountains on the west side of Panamint Valley:
High clearance and 4WD is recommended; a stock Jeep can make it, but may scrape a few times.
There are a few optional obstacles that can be bypassed:
