  • The Lizzard...It is a 2006 FZJ78 Land Cruiser

Guys, Land Cruisers are not common here, but take a look to this one...you may get some nice ideas from it...

    Subject: The Lizzard

I finally finished building up my truck. (Well, almost...I still have to put the 47 Gallon extra fuel tank for a total fuel capacity of aprox 70 Gallons and make a quick disconnect system for the sway bars)....

I know you guys like 70 series, so here are some pics of my FZJ78 Troopie "The Lizzard"...

    http://www.cruiserheads.org/index2.htm

It is a 2006 FZJ78 Land Cruiser (1FZ-FE Engine with Coil Packs). It was built for expedition duty (as you can imagine by the extra-large gas tank) but also as a rig that should be able to do well in extreme off road situations (I'd need a crawl box or auto tranny to go through Rubicon with the sheet metal unscathed, but that's not the type of wheeling we do anywhere here, so....)

This trucks come from the dealer as Troop Carriers, with plastic seating and in the back long 5 persn each seats on the sides of the ruck, so a lot of work went into adapting the FZJ80 seats in a safe and confortable way. Besides everything else: LOL! You know how it is...

    Regrads,
    Silviu
