  • I have a Wii for the weekend...

    No it's not an infection.....

I thought the Wii would be a stupid purchase but after playing last night, wow. Boxing is a riot and bowling is almost as much fun as being at the lanes drinking. It's definitely a game machine that needs a group of people but what a blast. And they should have marketed it as a fitness system because I'm so sore this morning, I feel like I worked out for hours. I need one.... and I have to move the furniture too. Need more room to beat up my kids.

I think I enjoy video games more as an adult than I did as a kid. My neighbors aren't big fans as it sounds like I'm running a fight club or something when my buddies come over to duke it out!

Bob - I hope you can make it . . . it would be great to wheel with you again! I'm going to try and make it at least one day if not both.

I'm buyin' a Wii!!! I have to have one now. It's working out without the crappy "have to" feeling, just like when I used to kickbox.

(will CPS take these rugrats so that I can buy more jeep stuff???)

Another one that gives you a great work out is the Dance,Dance Revolution for Playstation 2. They actually have a section that will tell you how many calories you have burned and the equivalent to how far you walked/ran during your dance moves. It's a blast!

Problem is, I can't dance. Not a lick. I have no rhythm, but I've got timing so boxing I can win.... yes, I have to win

all I can think about when the Wii is mentioned is the women that died trying to win one by drinking too much water and not going to the bathroom! sorry

We hooked one up to a 65" DLP at work and played bowling for about two weeks straight at lunch. We somehow kept shaming the guy into leaving it there Lots of fun, I didn't even bother playing a "real" game.
If it works, it's time to try something new

The Wii is getting used so much, there's actually a real condition known as Wiiitus, which is basically the same as tendonitus or Tennis Elbow. It is being classified as a sports injury, and they said it started popping up right after the Wii was introduced.
