Business has been kind of slow lately.
For those of you who don't already know, I originate and process reverse mortgages for senior citizens.
Basically, A reverse mortgage enables a senior citizen 62 or older to tap into a portion of the equity in their homes without having to credit or income qualify. Also, there are no mortgage payments for as long as they live in their home. They can take the proceeds in any way that is beneficial to them, whether it be a lump sum, line of credit or monthly income. This is a very safe government program for seniors. The senior still retains ownership of their home, and in most cases, there is still equity left in their homes to pass on to their heirs or to use for themselves, should they decide to move.
