Happy Birthday to a former Jeeper and curent friend!
Hey Supe, Happy almost 30 Birthday! I was just up in Pasadena last weekend with the Waywegos. There 18-20 jeeps running up the 2 to Mt. Wilson. Wish you could have been there.

How is that run? I have hiked off the 2 a few times and noticed some trail heads.
Did you guys stop into Sierra Madre, that I am actually living. Just outside of Pasadena in foothills.

Supe, this trail is just off the road that takes you up to Mt. Wilson. It's a locked gate but you can get access to wheel it from the FS. Or you can hike. There are at least two trails I saw, and there are some old campgrounds from way back. It looks like it might be the old highway: there are old forestry signs all along the trail. Pretty cool. There is still water and lots of big trees back in there.
