I was gonna go in on a shifter cart a few years and about 30lbs ago, but I think I might be interested in getting on in a shifter cart team if thats what your after... out in perris they were running races, min of 3 man (person) teams and when you start splitting costs on a cart, it almost becomes affordable...:gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:

full race karts are nuts, its so fast, so close to the ground...we put a r1 engine frlom a crotch rocket on one of them..i think thats still in my buddies garage, but 1 guy wedged it under a car and we needed the jaws of life to get him out, aparently being able to go 200+ k an hour 3 inches off the ground aint a good idea...

well yeah, the shifter carts are a class above the regular carts and they go wicked fast, but they are all limited by class for engine size and such, the races at perris, they provide the engines so you cant do anything to them, they include the engine in the race fee, they give cash prizes for places, and it is pretty much an endurace run, with pitting. every time you need to refuel you change the oil and change the driver. you cant refuel with the driver in the car, so the tree man rule applies because one guy is getting the fuel, one guy is getting the oil changed and the other guy is getting ready to drive the next set... lighter guys use less fuel, so less pits are needed, and its pretty much X amount of laps in so many hours, and the most laps wins.... it's a rush, and takes all you have, almost like being on the trail all day 'sept worse...:gun: my rifle is not illegal, it's just undocumented... :gun:
