Cali Wheelin and Chillin???

So in the next couple years im going to request to be stationed at Camp Pendleton, CA... I have been waiting to be back out there for a long time!!! So what im asking is...do you guys do a lot of stuff together and can show me around the wheelin spots when i get out there? I would probably like to join MJR at that point too...how do I go about that?

Theres usually someone going out every weekend somewhere. Youre more then welcome to join any posted run, as long as youre comfortable that your Jeep and experience fit the run. Its no fun getting in over your head.

As far as joining MJR, you already have If youd like to make a cash contribution to help defray the costs of running the board, we sincerely appreciate anything you can afford. Aside from the benefits you already enjoy, youll receive a place to upload and store pictures

I'm REALLY close to Camp Pendleton. I live in Oceanside close to the base. I'm not the most experienced, and there's not a lot of close (by close, I mean hour drive) wheeling, but just outside of an hour and a half, there's a couple dozen good wheeling spots. If/When you come out, let us all know! Maybe you and I (and our significant others) can grab some pizza and a beer.

thats fine...im tired of mud anyway..its not really fun like the rocks and it gets everything messy under neath and is a pain to clean

Thats cool...i spent a lot of time in oceanside when I was at camp pendleton in 2004. Thats right outside the front gate. Im cool with driving a lil over an hour to wheel too...we drive about 2hrs now to. Pizza and beer is def. a go:thumbs_up
