    this rig WON "best in show... not to my surprise, but to my dismay. it looks pretty cool from the outside, but with a closer look, the welding, and fabbing on this steering is a real "piece of work"!
    your thoughts?
    it is cool that this person went in with the courage to do this himself, but the quality of the welds leaves a lot to be desired.. i wonder if it could crawl rocks?


    here is the rear steer set up... not quite finished...
    good idea, but scary welding.

    No way would I be driving that on the street, and I hope I never have to drive anywhere near that thing! Steering and brakes are two things you don't cut corners with!

      Ok, my welding experience is limited to sticking scap metal together with half used welding rods in the backyard as a kid, but even I can see that needs to be taken apart, ground and redone by a professional. I hope my late father wasn't looking over my shoulder just now.
