In case you haven't been following the space weather lately, this comet is truly one to remember ... and it's super cool-lookin too. I haven't seen it, but check out the link below for people that have.
Summary: Comet McNaught (C/2006 P1) swung by the sun on Jan 12th - 14th, and now it is emerging into the skies of the southern hemisphere. During its close encounter with the sun, McNaught became a naked-eye object in broad daylight. See pages 7 and 8 of the gallery to view many blue-sky photos of the comet.
