    more damn hold downs and type 15 shear panel than you can shake a stick at.

    he says that he is unsure how much or where the existing shear panel is so he's designing the new area to carry the entire house

    either way, i sure hope the prick at the city hall will take these and let me build this damn thing. iun out of patience.

    I went through the same thing in Whittier. All I can say is be patient. It took over a year from initial plan to approval, and even then the engineers kept screwing with the build. There was enough paper just in permits to clear a forest! Good luck, and unload all your weapons...
