  • Hope ya'll are voting today ...

And if you're in CA and weren't planning on it ... DOOOOO IT!!!

    NO ON PROP 87!

Prop 87 means higher gas prices, greater dependence on foreign oil and a new bureaucracy of 50 political appointees with no accountability to taxpayers. 87also reduces available revenues for schools & public safety.

We need alternative energy, but Prop 87 is not the way to get there.

Only do it if you are familiar enough with the issues and candidates to make an informed decision.

I voted here in MD, but had to do a lot of research on the candidates. Having only lived here for 2 years, it was difficult, not to mention, the candidates never really told us what they stood for, just that they could slander the other party.

At least their websites were informative.

      Rock the vote!

Don't think so. It looks pretty Democratic around here today.....

AZ was the same way this year...lots of mud slinging, and no solutions for any of the problems were presented.

True, but alot of these CA ones this year were no-brainers.

                    More taxes? NO!
                    Higher gas? NO!
                    Borrow 8-zillion dollars? NO!
                    Eminent domain? NO!
                    Feinstein? NO!!!

                    lol

I see your point, but even so, you can learn alot in a short amount of time just by visiting your party's websites or flicking on the radio for a bit.

i'm probably the only one on this board that voted yes to 87.

                      let the mud slinging begin.

Yes. IMO, everyone should be informed about all of the issues, and vote according to their opinion on the issues. I firmly believe that if you do not learn what the issues are and make your voice heard, you have no room to bitch about any of it.

                        No vote = No bitching

I'm not "technically" a CA "resident", but Michigan needed the vote more anyway...

But if the news was correct last night... Um... Arnold was chosen again?
