ahh the endless debate. yes. the winch is worth it.

it works fine.. it is a tad slow.

I bought it with the knowledge that i wouldnt be entering any competitions with the thing, however it has well paid for itself so far. its sole purpose is to get me out of stucks when noone else is around to give me a 3' pull.

yup, agreed! that's why rick got the harbor fruit one too, because you're not buying it intending to use it all the time. actually, i don't even think we've ever needed to be winched -- tugged maybe yes -- and as alex said the winch would be for when no one's around!
